Comprehensive Dry-Dock Survey & Maintenance — 82,000 DWT Bulk Carrier

Performed a full special survey dry-docking for an 82,000 DWT Panamax bulk carrier at Zhoushan repair yard. Scope included hull plating renewal (380 tonnes of steel), complete cargo hold coating refurbishment using the Jotun Jotamastic 90 epoxy system, tail shaft withdrawal and inspection, rudder pintle replacement, and main engine (MAN B&W 6S60MC-C)) top-end overhaul with liner and piston ring renewal. All class surveys were completed in accordance with IACS UR Z17 requirements. The vessel was redelivered within 28-day schedule with zero NCRs issued by the DNV surveyor.

LNG Fuel-Ready Conversion and Ballast Water Treatment System Retrofit
Upgrade

LNG Fuel-Ready Conversion & Ballast Water Treatment System Retrofit

Managed a complex dual-retrofit program on a 158,000 m³ LNG carrier: installed the Wärtsilä FGSS fuel gas supply system with Type C containment tank modifications, and the AlfaPure S ballast water treatment system (BWTS) rated at 3,000 m³/h. Engineering scope included structural reinforcement of pump room foundations, integration of new piping through cofferdam spaces, and modification of the integrated automation system (IAS) for dual-fuel ECU control. The project was delivered within a 42-day dry-dock window; upon completion, the vessel received USCG BWMS type approval and DNV Gas-Fuelled notation.

Exhaust Gas Cleaning System (EGCS) Installation — IMO 2020 Compliance
Upgrade

Exhaust Gas Cleaning System (EGCS) Installation — IMO 2020 Compliance

Completed open-loop/closed-loop hybrid EGCS retrofit on a 28,000 DWT chemical tanker to meet IMO MARPOL Annex VI SOx requirements ahead of the 2020 global sulfur cap. Installed CR Ocean Engineering hybrid scrubber system with 3.5 MW washwater treatment capacity, including an overboard discharge monitoring system compliant with MEPC.259(68) washwater criteria. Key engineering challenges included routing 800mm diameter exhaust ducting through the existing funnel casing and integrating washwater effluent monitoring with the vessel's existing alarm and monitoring systems. Sea trials confirmed an SOx/CO₂ ratio below 43.3 g-SOx/kWh across all engine load points. The vessel achieved EU MRV compliance and passed Port State Control inspection immediately after retrofit.

Offshore Wind Turbine Foundation Installation — 150MW Project
Offshore Engineering

Offshore Wind Turbine Foundation Installation — 150 MW Project

Provided marine engineering support for installing 30 × 5MW monopile foundations at the Guangdong Yangjiang offshore wind farm. Deployed the jack-up installation vessel "Tian Kun" equipped with a 1,200-tonne crane capacity and DP2 positioning system. Scope included geotechnical verification, pile driving analysis using SPT-based drivability models, transition piece grouting with Densit Ducorit S5 high-strength grout, and placement of subsea cable protection mattresses. All 30 monopiles were installed within design tolerances (verticality < 0.5°, elevation ±50 mm). Zero LTIs recorded across 180,000 man-hours of offshore operations.

ISM Code Compliance and Safety Management System Implementation
Regulatory Consultation

ISM Code Compliance and Safety Management System Implementation

Designed and deployed a comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) for a fleet of 32 vessels, including bulk carriers, product tankers, and container ships, in full compliance with the ISM Code (SOLAS Chapter IX) and flag state regulations. Key deliverables included a company-specific SMS manual, 48 standard operating procedures, a risk assessment matrix covering 2+ identified hazards, emergency response plans aligned with IMO MSC-MEPC.7/Circ.7 guidelines, and a crew training program featuring computer-based learning modules. Successfully facilitated the issuance of the Document of Compliance (DOC) by China Classification Society (CCS) and achieved zero major non-conformities during initial Safety Management Certificate (SMC) audits across all managed vessels.
